Dancehall musician, Wallace Chirumiko — known as Winky D — shares the stage with Andy Muridzo tomorrow at Legends Sports Dinner in Marondera. It will be Winky D’s debut performance at the venue. Promoter of the show, Daniel Masaiti, said people have been requesting for the musician’s show at the venue.“We have hosted several musicians here and most big names have been on our stage, but we have not yet hosted him,” he said.

He said they have enough security for the gig that likely to be oversubscribed.

“Our ‘Legends’ have been mature patrons though we have put enough security in case of any cases of hooliganism,” he said.

Winky D is on top of his game with his songs from his “Gafa” release being popular.

The entertainer has so far maintained his glory in the genre and his music has been accepted by people of different age groups.

The musician has promised a good show in Marondera and said he will play most of his party songs.

His combination with Muridzo will bring diversity to the gig.

The young entertainer is on a mission to prove to critics that he is not a Jah Prayzah copycat.

His album “Ngarizhambe” has managed to bring some hope with songs such as “Dherira” and “Vape Moyo” being played in most public places.

“It is an honour to share the stage with Winky D.

“ We have shared the stage with most celebrated artistes and that has given us platforms to showcase our talent,” said Muridzo.
