HEXCO results out

Higher Education Examination Council (HEXCO) results for March and April 2017 examinations are out. Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development permanent secretary Ambassador Machivenyika Mapuranga announced the development in a statement yesterday. The overall pass rate is 74 percent, he said.
Last year’s October and November examinations pass rate was 69 percent.
Dr Mapuranga said HEXCO centres started collecting the results from their respective regions as from yesterday.
He thanked lecturers, students, examination staff and all stakeholders involved in the national examination system and in the teaching and learning process.
Dr Mapuranga said it was their contribution that had resulted in achieving the 74 percent pass rate.
