Zimcafe restaurant and bar will, beginning this weekend, host the popular Chisa Nyama at the hangout.

This means that those who love to braai and enjoy a cool mix of old school music will have quality entertainment from top DJ Dexter Dee.

According to Isaac Neshamba, the director of Zimcafe who is popularly known as F&B Guru in entertainment circles, Chisa Nyama is back by demand.

“Most of our clients are the mature crowd and they requested that we bring back Chisa Nyama weekends so that they don’t drive out of town for BBQs. Instead they would want to wine and dine at Zimcafe as they listen to their favourite old school jams.

“We are offering generous portions of meat be it pork-chops, t-bone steak or rump steak as well as your sausages. Our chefs will make sure the meat is juicy, spicy and tasty,” he said.

The F&B Guru urged music fans to turn up in their numbers as this weekend there will be lots of specials on booze and BBQs.

He said there will be braziers to keep patrons warm from the wintry nights. This weekend, DJ Dexter Dee will be serenading music lovers with some rare grooves as he takes fans down the memory lane.

Known for rocking parties, DJ Dexter Dee will be taking care of the decks making sure the party will not stop until the wee hours.

Besides the Chisa Nyama project, Zimcafe also hosts the must attend Thursday Nights with the inimitable Steve “Dhongi” Makoni.

The soloist generates a lot of heat among fans with his rib cracking jobs that touch on the social life.

Whenever he performs, Dhongi engages and inspires the crowd. Besides his own compositions such as “Maidei”, “Handiende” or “Zvachonyana”, he spices the play-list with cover versions of hits by international artistes.
