More than 10 of the country’s top Zim dancehall artistes are set to thrill showgoers when they take part in the inaugural Classic Trade Fair Expo to be held at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex starting tomorrow until Saturday.

The fair – which is in its first year and is a version of the massively popular and successful Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) – will be held annually courtesy of Classic Marketing Zim- babwe.

While the fair will be a platform for corporates and other players in the business sector to market and promote their brands, all eyes, however, will be on the artistes who include man-of-the-moment Killer T whose album “Ngoma Ndaimba” is currently enjoying massive rotation both on and off the airwaves, especially with tracks like “Ngavatendwe”, “Maisafana Kundirega” and the title track itself, among other hit songs.

Also hot and on top of his game is Killer T’s fellow Mbare-bred chanter, Kinna, who also launched his latest album apart from having a string of crowd favourites like “Mumota Menyu Muri Kubvira” among others.

Ninja President Winky D will be out in full force to prove to all and sundry why he is still the firebrand artiste that he is and those who are acquainted with his stage work know what to expect from the seasoned chanter.

Dadza D, Hwindi President and Fyah Links will also make their appearance at the fair while lady artistes will be represented by Lady Squanda herself alongside Empress Fyna.

The line-up would be incomplete without Chibaba, as Soul Jah Love is affectionately called, also taking part at this mammoth fair that is promising to be one of Zimbabwe’s premier and foremost business and entertainment events on the calendar.

“We are going to take this fair to the various towns and cities around Zimbabwe in order to reach out to a wider audience, and this is where we differ with other business fairs that take place in Zimbabwe since we are more mobile,” said Noel Mavura, the managing director of Classic Marketing Zimbabwe, who is also the brains behind the Classic Trade Fair Expo.
