Vabati VaJehova have reaffirmed their status as one of the country’s best apostolic choral groups with a new album titled “Zororo Kumatenga”. Group leader Richard Magaya said they are growing stronger and have decided to offer their fans a Christmas present in their 14th album.

“We are happy that God is enabling us every year to produce an album. We took our time with ‘Zororo Kumatenga’ and it qualifies to be the best of them all. We are expecting it to rock the local gospel music charts,” he said.

He added that the title track is, so far, the most popular song on the seven-track album as it encourages people to dedicate their lives to God and seek comfort only in Him. He applauded their fans for their continued support.

“We are excelling to greater heights because of the overwhelming support of our fans. We have sustained our presence on the music scene since breaking through in 1999 because of the loyalty,” he added.

Their latest album serves that purpose with powerful tracks “Baba Wedu”, “Mutitungamirire”, “Munoita Minana” and “Kuyedza Kwazosvika” that can touch even the hearts of non believers.

Meanwhile, the group has already started working on follow-up videos that will be compiled and released in time for Christmas.
They will also pay tribute to the late founding members, Timothy, Wiseman and Khumbulani Magaya through countrywide shows as they promote their latest project.

“Despite death robbing us of our brothers along the way we will continue to soldier on with the work they started,” he said.

Vabati VaJehova’s vision is to minister the word to the nation through songs in order to win souls to God.
