launch of Minute Maid juices.
The exclusive event held at Wild Geese Lodge saw among the audiences Harare Mayor Muchadeyi Masunda, Delta Beverages officials and senior officials from Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited swaying to the mellow tunes by Vas.
For those not in the know, Vas is well travelled and has graced high-profile cruise ships internationally. He is well known for his exquisite skill on the sax.
But to add colour to what was already a morning jam session, Vas took audiences on a fantastic journey of music by playing favourite songs by Celine Dion, Isley Brothers and Michael Bolton, just to mention a few.
What a way to have fruitful day!
Speaking at the event, Mona Karingi, the franchise senior brand manager of Coca-Cola Zimbabwe, said the juices come in four exciting flavours.
“The Minute Maid juice drinks provide quick convenient and delicious natural refreshment throughout the day. We are making juice better and involved in the juice supply chain to ensure that we are putting the benefits of the natural fruit in the orchard within arm’s reach of everyone,” she said.
Karingi said their range of Minute Maid fruit juices and nectars did not have preservatives but contained real fruit made from the natural ingredients.
In Zimbabwe, she said, the company had started rolling out a few of the products within the Minute Maid portfolio and would introduce more to meet the consumers’ ever changing needs.
Charles Msipa, the general manager of Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited, said although the local juice market was fragmented and led by only a few major players, there was a wave of positive macro-economic factors and social dynamics that presented a huge opportunity for the growth of juice in Zimbabwe.
