What Oprah wants, Oprah gets even if that means paying US$2 million to snag an exclusive interview like she did with Lindsay Lohan.
And now, the 59-year-old media mogul has her sights set on Lamar Odom, TMZ reports. There would certainly be plenty to discuss with the 33-year-old, such as his troubled marriage to Khloe Kardashian, alleged drug use and the current state of his basketball career.

The NBA star — who played with the Lakers two years ago and wants to rejoin — met with the Los Angeles team on Tuesday to discuss his future.

TMZ reports that “things went well” with the Lakers executives, though nothing has been set in stone yet.
This was a big step for the athlete, who most recently played with the Clippers, as he has been knee-deep in several scandals that have been holding him back.

Lamar was reported to have had affairs with at least three different women, including attorney Polina Polonsky.
Then, there were claims he was using cocaine, among other drugs. And in August, he was arrested for driving too slowly on an LA freeway and refusing to take a chemical test.

He also moved out of the Tarzana house he shared with his wife of four years, Khloe, though, both have still been seen wearing their wedding rings as they lead separate lives.

But, fuelled by willpower and his passion to return to the court, the reality TV star —who turns 34 on November 6 — is said to have turned his life around by cutting off drugs cold turkey.

Lamar is also said to have ceased relationships with most of the peers he was doing drugs with.
“The Khloe and Lamar” star has a history with Oprah, previously connecting with her during a Kardashian special that aired last summer.
And though he’s been hesitant to open up in a raw interview, the basketball player would be “game if the conditions are right”, claims TMZ.

There have reportedly been some serious discussions already and it would be the perfect opportunity for Lamar to clear the air and set the record straight if he wishes to do so. — Daily Mail.
