Award winning gospel sensation Tatenda Mahachi has collaborated with music icon Oliver Mtukudzi for a single entitled “Ndisiye Satan”, which is set to be released next month.

This is Mahachi’s first single in 2017.

In an interview the “Usacheme” hitmaker said it is a dream come true working with Mtukudzi.

“We are currently in studio with Samanyanga. I am so excited to be working with my role model and father figure. When I wrote the song and the first time I listened to the beat, I said to myself I should engage Tuku. He agreed and we the sat down to compose other verses together.

“The song is a sing-along track talking about how the devil can come and rule you, but if you have the power and faith to say no and believe in Jesus, you will conquer,” he said.

“A lot is happening not only in Zimbabwe but generally the world over. People are losing morals and are letting the devil take control.

“The devil is at work hence not only prayer but music too can defeat him,” he said.

Mahachi said he will release the song together with the video and has engaged some reputable producers and directors to work on the script.

He has once worked with Dudu Manhenga, Shingisai Suluma, Dino Mudondo, Mechanic Manyeruke, late S’fiso Ncwane (SA), Isaac Simpsons (USA) and Prudence Katomeni among others.

He is also the ambassador of a non-governmental organisation called Care At The Core of Humanity (CATCH) which protects and empowers children.
