Bar Rouge at Longecheng Plaza will be a nest for lovers this week as several events to celebrate love have been lined up beginning tonight.

Tonight Tina Watyoka will serenade lovebirds at a special Valentine’s Day show that will have various give-aways for patrons.

Tina has the experience to entertain couples and has held various shows that made impact. She is a talented vocalist and instrumentalist who worked with veteran singers like the late Chiwoniso Maraire and Busi Ncube.

Expectations are high that she will leave lasting impressions at Bar Rouge tonight and help lovers celebrate their day in style.Love continues to be in the air at the joint when Mbeu performs tomorrow night.

Mbeu has been active in showbiz over the past couple of years and has performed in various parts of the country. He is set to continue with the spirit of love at Bar Rouge. On Friday veterans of jazz, Jabavu Drive, will take over and showcase their experience to lovebirds.

They have promised to have a playlist of love songs on the night. They perform at Bar Rouge every Friday, but this week’s selection will be special.

The group plays cover versions of yesteryear hits in addition to their compositions. This week they will retrace steps to popular love songs that made waves in previous years.

The love week at Bar Rouge ends in style on Saturday when Suluman Chimbetu comes to dance with the lovers. Sulu has performed at the venue on several times and will be out take people to the dance floor with his dendera vibes. Bar Rouge manager Spencer Sahumani said lovers should prepare for a great week of love jams.

“It will b e a special week for our patrons. We invite couples to come and enjoy an environment that we have set for them. Love will be in the air from Wednesday (today) to Saturday. We have special dishes and good music,” said Sahumani.
