Dancehall musician Killer T launches videos for his album “Ngoma Ndaimba” at Super Label tomorrow. The album was rated one of the best in 2015 together with Jah Prayzah’s “Jerusarema”. His manager Kudzai Biston said the DVD will have 10 tracks. “We have realised how videos are pushing people’s music. In that regard we have come up with videos that will take us to another level,” said Biston.The event will spice up the busy weekend that has several shows lined up in and outside Harare.

Legends Night Club in Marondera bring an exciting clash of the legends when Leonard Zhakata join hands with Allan Chimbetu.

The two released their albums “Mutunga Dzose” and “Covenant” with tonight’s show being their first at the joint.

Owner of the venue Daniel Masaiti who is the reigning promoter of the year said it was important to have the two artists at the venue.

“When a musician releases an album people expect to see him on stage with the new stuff and we decided to have the clash of these two artists,” he said.

He is optimistic that the show will yield results for the artists.

Longcheng Plaza’s popular 1+1 joint hosts an array of DJs that include DJ Ken, Zyan, MC Kharizima among others for a show dubbed “Urban Connection”.

Sungura musician Peter Moyo combines with dendera crooner Tryson Chimbetu in celebrating his 27th birthday at Dandaro Inn.

Moyo is happy that, though he is going through rough patches in his career, God is keeping him going.

On fire Jah Prayzah returns to Gweru with new album “Mudhara Vachauya” that was launched in style recently when he performs at Midlands Hotel. His manager Keen Mushapaidze said it was good to have the show as they take their new album to Midlands.

“That is our first show after the mega launches and we are happy to bring them new stuff. We are sharing stage with one of the finest dancehall artistes Freeman at the show,” he said.

Somandla “Mafia” Ndebele performs at Murerekwa Beerhall in Lions’ Den and the musician is optmistic about the gig.

Alexio Kawara joins hands with Nesto for a performance at Jazz 24/7 in the capital.

Volt host a mbira event dubbed “Bira Rendangariro” that will see Nyamasvisva and his Maungira eNharira performing together with Samaita and Mbira dzeNhariria.

All roads lead to The Platinum, formerly Pick and Save Mutare, where sungura ace Alick Macheso performs.

Owner of the venue Dr Isau Mupfumi said he was happy to host the musician who has one of the best released albums to date.

“Macheso has one of the best albums released this year and our patrons have been asking for him. When we hosted him last month thousands came and we have put in place enough security for the gig,” he said. Former Jah Prayzah dancer Pamela Zulu populary known as Gonyeti launches her solo career at Club Tabula in Southlea Park. Club Joy Centre in Highfields host Faheem Somanje while dancer Zoey return to Joy Centre in Mbare. Marondera Music Awards takes place at Marondera Hope Fay Hotel.

An array of family shows have been lined up in the capital with several musicians performing. Sonstress Tracy Mbirimi popularly known as Pah Chihera stages a family show at Club Joy Centre at Machipisa Shopping Centre.

Jah Prayzah performs at Extra Mile while dancehall musician Soul Jah Love who is on fire with song “Hove Huru” join forces with Alick Macheso at Club Las Vergas in Southerton.

Fireworks are expected at the show as the two musicians are pulling crowds.

Moyo and Chimbetu alliance continues when they perform at Zebra in Mbare.
