Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber split up seven months ago after being on and off for years. But it seems as if the 22-year-old “Wizards Of Waverly Place” actress is never far from the mind of the 21-year-old “Believe” star.When leaving the Met Gala on Monday night in New York City, Bieber went out of his way to compliment the brunette beauty.

Soon after he attended the same after party as the siren.

The two both walked the red carpet at the Met Gala but were never photographed together.

While Selena came alone (TMZ reported she has split from DJ Zedd), Justin seemed to be with his rumoured girlfriend Hailey Baldwin as well as Kendall Jenner.

Selena, who wore her Vera Wang bridal-inspired gown at the gala, later changed into a leggy black playsuit before stopping by Rihanna’s Post Met Gala Party.

She smiled through crimson lipstick, undeterred by the prospect of crossing paths with her ex-boyfriend.

The brunette beauty hung out with fellow actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Lily Collins, while Bieber joined his famous gal pals Kylie Jenner and Kendall and friend Kyle Massey.

Despite arriving on the arm of a gaggle of supermodel friends, that wasn’t as much female attention as Justin would be getting that night.

He was swarmed by admirers from the moment he rolled up at the bash, leaning his hand out of the window to greet faithful fans.

Earlier that night, Justin had put in a swoon-worthy appearance in a black blazer, adorned with gold dragons to suit the Chinese theme of Anna Wintour’s annual bash. — Hollywoodnews.
