Jah Prayzah unveils new style JAH PRAYZAH

Contemporary musician Jah Prayzah believes his new offering “Jerusarema” will give fans a new feel to his music.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment the musician said he has introduced new concepts on the album that will be launched next month at the Harare International Conference Centre.

“We have done our best in introducing new aspects like different instruments on songs such as ‘Jerusarema’ hopping that people will accept them,” he said.

The musician said he has decided to pay tribute to the late actor and dancer Elizabeth Taderera widely known as Katarina in the famed Mukadota series on a song titled “Katarina”.

“The song describes Katarina’s dances cannot be easily forgotten. We have to remember those heroes as they contributed to the development of music industry,” he said.

He believes his collaboration with Luciano will reach wide audience including music lovers in Jamaica.

“That is the only collaboration we have so far on the album and we are hopeful that it will give a another feel to music lovers across the country,” he said.

Tonight the musician performs at Joy Centre at Makoni Business Centre in Chitungwiza before taking his act to Kadoma where he shares stage with Leonard Zhakata.

On Sunday he stages a family show at Jongwe corner .

Some of the songs that have been received well by fans are “Ngazvitenderere”, “Dindingwe” and “Handirambe”.

Next month the musician will embark on a national tour with Alick Macheso, Peter Moyo and Tarasina Chibaya.

They will be performing in Gweru, Bulawayo and Kadoma.
