Huawei Zimbabwe has launched its week long programme to train undergraduate students on the new trends in Information Communication Technology.

The programme, which was launched at Rainbow Towers, is expected to improve the ICT knowledge to promote the 5G network as well allowing students to access valuable cutting-edge knowledge from Huawei’s Headquarters.

Thirty students turned up for the week long class, which is Huawei’s global flagship initiated in 2008.

The programme is meant to nurture ICT professionals, develop local ICT talent, enhance knowledge transfer, and promote a greater understanding of the ICT sector among the youth in the countries where Huawei operates.

Huawei Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd runs the Zimbabwe Seeds for the Future programme in partnership with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education.
