Police in Harare are seeking anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of a suspect on their wanted persons list.
“Police would like to interview Tonderai MacDonald Zenda (28) in connection with a case of theft of trust property,” police spokesperson for Harare province Inspector Tedius Chibanda said.
It is alleged that on July 24 last year he was given US$11 000 cash to purchase a truck on behalf of Mrs Cathrine Mufanebadza(39).
“Zenda took the money intending to go and purchase the truck but he never delivered it and his current whereabouts are unknown,” he said.
A police report was subsequently made.
Insp Chibanda has urged anyone with information that may lead to his arrest not to hesitate to inform the police.
“Anyone with information that can lead to his arrest can contact Constable Mawere on 04-753264 or cell phone number 0772 891 468 or alert any nearest police officer or station,” Insp Chibanda said.
Zenda’s last known address is house number 317/27 Musavengane, Nyameni in Marondera.
His rural address is Gwatidzo village, Chief Svosve in Marondera.
