Hello once again. How is your weekend like and hope you are catching up with the books. January is a boring month because of less activity I guess, but it’s only a few days till we enter February.Ummm February is the month of love and hey what have you planned for Valentine’s Day?

Yes, some might say I am crazy or ‘Drunk in love’ like Beyonce sang but truth be told, Valentine is not only for your girlfriend or boyfriend.

And by the way Swag Mama doesn’t approve of intense teen love affairs. LOL!

You can even spoil your brother, sister, parents or friends on the day with presents.

CL TIP – Share love at church and in the community. I mean do something extraordinary on the day and send us the details with a picture and you might have your picture and short story published in the paper. WOW!

Last week I was chatting to a friend on the new crop of braid style that has seen most girls donning. Gosh I mean the Alicia Keys style of zig-zag pattern.

Girls this is a big NO!!! It is so 2008. Move on with trends. I won’t dwell much on the 2008 news.

Back to reality, wake up guys.

What are the latest, coolest and doppest trends this week. (LAC – loud and clear) please I beg you it’s winter time in the States and don’t copy the look. Here is my Nay and YEAH of the week.

If the hat fits wear it

Hey it is hot outside and obvious the hat is the next best friend. During the weekend if you not at school please do wear the hat to avoid the heat.

Worse still, the nose bleeding will also be a thing of the past. School hats are also cool by the way, so don’t ignore them thinking that its gwash.

I remember last week received a text from 14 year old Tendai from Westridge that is it cool to wear school hat. Well, T make it happen.
My lip gloss is poppin’

Ladies, ummmm dages, we understand you always want to look good even at school. You definitely can’t keep wearing your mascara or foundation powers but at least you can still pout your lips with lip gloss.

Make sure it’s colourless though, you don’t want to get yourself in trouble! Keep some fruity jelly lip gloss, lip ice or lip balm so that your lips look good and smell good too.

Team athletics
It is that time again First Term where athletics tops. Again you can show off your swag with sneakers but stay away from white because it is rainy season.

Try to go grey or black or if you have the luminous colours such as pink, lime or orange prove to them you can run in style too.

However, if it is compulsory for you to wear white sneakers or tennis shoes then don’t disobey the law but it means you must always keep them clean guys!
