Talented choral group ZimPraise Choir will have their live DVD recording christened “It’s Still All About Jesus  . . . The Revelation” on July 26 at the Glamis Arena.
ZimPraise chief executive officer Joseph Madziyire said preparations for the event are gathering momentum and the show will be bigger.“We have started counting down as the day is drawing closer. We have already started intensive rehearsals because we want to deliver a polished act as we always do.

“This will be something different that is bigger and better,” he said.

Last year the DVD recording was sold out and this time around organisers are expecting more people.

“We are expecting more people this time around because last year we sold all the tickets and the Harare International Conference Centre could not accommodate everyone.
“This is one of the reasons we opted for Glamis Arena and we also chose also to explore our own creativity,” he said

Madziyire said the 30-track album title reflects the importance of Jesus in people’s lives.

“We will be recording 30 songs of different beats that appeal to all age groups. Our theme is a continuation of ‘It’s All About Jesus’ but this time we are saying let us get to know more about this Jesus, his ways and personality, that is why we included ‘The Revelation’ aspect,” said Madziyire

To spice up the event, newly formed ZimPraise Kids will have their first performance of music and dance on the day while Women of Praise group is also set to perform.

Many other gospel artistes are expected to take to the stage at the recording concert.

ZimPraise choir is still basking in the glory of a successful United Kingdom tour.

“We returned home last week from our two-week tour and we were overwhelmed by the huge numbers that attended the two shows we had.  Both shows were well-attended and it is only the grace of God that granted us this victory,” he said.
