UPCOMING Afro Jazz songstress and Zimtalent finalist Natalie Chimombe and her band Zimfusion enthralled Tanzania music lovers when she recently toured the central African country and performed at Mount Meru hotel in Arusha. Natalie, who performs with a live band, put up a scintillating performance before a sizable crowd that sang along some of the songs from her forthcoming album “Rwendo” which will be launched in November this year.

She recently released three singles, Dreaming, Shiri and Rwendo that will also be included in her six track album.

Natalie said she was impressed by the turn out of the fans at the show and said she had a good experience considering that it was her first international show.

“I performed with a live band at Mt Meru Hotel in Arusha Tanzania. There was an overwhelming response from music lovers. We did not disappoint as some of the fans sang along some of the songs that we performed in English. We sampled songs from our forthcoming album that would be released in November. We are making final touches at the six track album.

“At the moment we have released three singles and we are performing at corporate functions,” she said.

Natalie had been invited to Arusha in Tanzania for a music workshop during which she conducted workshops for stage management, sound engineering, band management, sound engineering and event management at Braeburn International School after which she performed at the tertiary institution.

ZimFusion is comprised of Natalie Rugare Chimombe, Humphrey Domboka, Simba Chimanga and Modecai Mukamuri.
