The Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe yesterday donated 400 litres of road-line paint worth US$4 000 to the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority to help boost preparations for the UNWTO conference by the Victoria Falls town. Transport, Communications and Infrastructural Development Ministry Permanent Secretary Mr Munesu Munodawafa handed over 320 litres of white road-line paint and 80 litres of yellow road-line paint to ZTA chief executive Mr Karikoga Kaseke for onward transmission to the Victoria Falls municipality.

“I know that the past few months have been hectic as all stakeholders have been playing their critical roles in preparation for this historic gathering in our country,” Mr Munodawafa said.

“On their part, the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe is implementing a road safety strategy to make sure that roads in Victoria Falls are as safe as possible during the conference.”
