Guitarist, composer and musician Tariro Ruzvidzo popularly known in the music circles as Tariro Negitare will today hold a joint show with rising Afro-jazz star Gary Tight at Book Café. With one album to her name, “Wildfire” Tariro has proved to be a force to reckon with when it comes to playing the guitar and has taken her talent to Germany where she will be featuring on one of Germany’s celebrated outfit Jamaram’s project together with other four Zimbabweans.

On the other hand, Gary son to Willom Tight who has distanced himself from riding on his father’s fame by being his own man has proved that music runs in his blood.

Garry has performed at a number of events and curtain-raised for most established artists like Jah Prayzah.

Every time he performs he leaves people asking for more.

The two have promised fireworks today saying the gig is going to be one of its kind.

“People must look forward to an exciting show.

My collaboration with Gary is just unique, our instruments provide an Afro pop sound which is unique and it is likely to take the music industry by storm.

“Garry is currently doing well in the industry and as for me I am going to be sampling some songs from my second album which is going to be out soon,” said the soft-spoken Tariro.

Gary said it is an honour for him to be sharing stage with someone talented like Tariro.

“Tari is one of the musicians I respect so getting the chance to perform side by side with her is an honour and I am ready for the gig. People must just expect fireworks,” he said.
