When musicians record duets, fans usually request for joint performances live on stage.

Suluman “Sulu” Chimbetu and Soul Jah Love recorded a song “Nyuchi” that made waves and is still a hit with many of their fans.

The song cemented the relationship of the two artistes and when they shared the stage in Mutare last month, they left everlasting memories in the minds of their fans.

So when Sulu and Soul Jah Love meet tonight at Private Lounge for a show, chances are that there will be a lot of thrills.

Soul Jah Love recently released an album “Kuponda Nhamo” that has distinguished him from several dancehall artistes.

The album has charmed a lot with the mature lyrics the musician has included. Though he has been carrying the bad tag after snubbing his own album launch, the musician’s manager-cum-wife Bounty Lisa yesterday told The Herald Entertainment that the musician has been let down by his previous managers.

“We have decided to have it a family affair and we are happy that we organise shows as a family,” she said.

She said Jah Love as the musician is fondly known has a point to prove to his fans and tonight’s show was one of the platforms to do so.

“A lot has been said about him but to be honest with you he has a point to prove because he has God-given talent,” added Bounty Lisa.

On the other hand Sulu said he always loves to share stage with Jah Love.

Through his publicist Joe Nyamungoma, the musician said he enjoyed collaborating with other artistes.

“Art is Sulu’s passion so he enjoys working with other artistes and tonight’s show will be one of the best shows,” said Nyamungoma.

Organisers of the show said they were expecting fireworks on the show.

On Friday, Sulu will take his act to Pamuzinda Ice and Fire where he will be sharing stage with Peter Moyo.

On Sunday the two will also perform at Extra Mile Leisure Spot.
