STARBILL manager Kudakwashe Mugari says they are ready to host Gunners tomorrow in a World Navi Northern Region Division One soccer league encounter at Rufaro.
Starbill lost the reverse fixture 0-1 at Lafarge and they were also booted out of the Yadah TV knock-out tournament by Gunners.
“We are ready for this game. We are not afraid of Gunners,” said Mugari.

“We have played them before and the last time we played they got a lucky goal but we are not reading much into that because it was a Cup game, which is a different ball game.

“They have pressure, they want to win the league and they are visiting us. If we beat them it’s over for them.”
Starbill have been doing well since Elisha Mukusa took over from Patson Muzavazi winning four consecutive matches since his arrival.
They beat Bindura 1-0 before dismissing Twalumba 2-0.

Starbill went on to defeat Seven Flames 1-0 and last Saturday they were awarded three points for their cancelled match against Royal Classic.

“Training has been going on well, we are positive we are going to collect maximum points in all our remaining games.
“We have a game in hand against Chegutu, we hope to also collect maximum points and we are looking forward to that game.

“As Starbill we have no pressure, we are relaxed, we are not in the relegation zone. We just want to finish in a respectable position.
“Let Fair Play prevail, usually the stage we have reached outside forces may want to interfere with referees. This is a crucial stage and let the referees do their job, there shouldn’t be external forces.

“We are playing a team fighting for the championship so we are just saying let’s be fair and let the best team win,” said Mugari.
