Reggae outfit Transit Crew will tonight combine forces with rhumba ensemble Diamond Musica during a special Unity Day show at Chez Ntemba.

Tonight’s show is a must attend for mature music lovers who have been loyal to this upmarket venue known for hosting themed parties on both the lower and upper decks.

Simply dubbed the “Selfie Concert”, this will be the first time the upmarket joint will be hosting the two camps, according to Diamond Musica leader Pitshou Lumiere.

On the other hand, the nursery of Zim reggae — Transit Crew — will also be invading the joint for the first time.

“We have created some synergies with Transit Crew and we have been playing together for a while.

“With this special holiday (Unity Day) coming before Christmas, we can’t wait for the particular show where we get an opportunity to exchange notes under one roof,” he said.

He added: “We urge fans to come in numbers and we do promise a full house.

“It’s a show not to be missed as we mark this holiday which comes before the big one (Christmas) three days later.”

While all the attention would be on Transit Crew, which is famed for producing such chanters as Mic Inity, Cello Culture, Mannex and Jehfari, it should be mentioned that Pitshou would not be out to add numbers.
