United Kingdom-based award-winning rapper Tichaona Monera, aka Rhyme Assassin has dropped his latest single titled “Beautiful” for Valentine’s Day.
In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Rhyme Assassin said the song features Bulawayo’s upcoming artiste and former Miss Teen Bulawayo Alaina Pullen, and is a Valentine’s present to all lovers in Zimbabwe.

“I decided to drop the single as a Valentine’s present to all my fans in Zimbabwe and I want to encourage all the people to show love to their loved ones not only on Valentine’s Day, but every day of their lives,” he said.

The song teaches that love is not defined by expensive gifts but should come from the heart.

“The song is about two people who are in love who express how they feel for each other.

“Love is not always about buying chocolates and roses because sometimes it hurts to discover that a person is after gifts and people have to work for their love to grow,” he said.

The rapper added that the “give always” message shapes the track.

“I will be showing love to all my fans throughout the month of love by giving out great prizes to 100 lucky fans as a way of saying happy Valentine’s,” he added.

The single was produced by Polite Sithole popularly known as P2daoh, and the track is off  his forthcoming album “Birth of a Legend” to be released later this year.

“It has taken me a year to work on this album. I was supposed to launch it last year, but I felt that it should be well packaged,” he said.

“The 26-track double CD album will feature songs in English, Ndebele and Shona as a way to reach a wider audience.”

The musician scooped an award at the 2012 Zimbabwe Music Awards held annually in United Kingdom as the best male artiste of the year.

Born in 1981, Rhyme Assassin spent the early years of his life in Highfield.

He started writing songs and performing on high schools gigs and between 1999 and 2001 he made some significant progress on the music scene featuring on various contests with one notable performance at the Miss Waterfalls contest.

Shortly afterwards he left for the United Kingdom where he re-launched his music career.
