“Revel Saturdays” — a programme featuring top DJs that takes place at Club 1+1 every weekend — has added nightlife colour to Long Cheng Plaza. The programme is done every Saturday and DJs on rotation are Selekta Base, Fuji and Black Snizzle. The team has popularised the entertainment slot and many fun-lovers are making a date with the DJs.

Last Saturday, the place was fully-packed and ladies had a brilliant night of fun downing free vodka that the organisers of the event offer. DJ Selekta Base said many celebrities and socialites have fallen in love with the programme while ladies have been their priority because they breathe life into the slot.

“We give free vodka to ladies because they have been supporting us since the programme started. “I am not saying we do not like our male patrons. “We have various specials for all patrons but you should come and see how the ladies have fun here and you will understand why they get free drinks,” said DJ Selekta Base.

He said the same team of DJs would be on turntables tonight at Davido’s welcome party. “We are hosting Davido for a welcome party tomorrow (today) and the “Revel Saturdays” team will be on turntables. “We are glad to host the party and we promise a memorable event before Davido goes to his show.”

Club 1+1 has become one of the most popular hangouts in the capital and with the growing popularity of LongCheng Plaza, where it is situated, the night spot is likely to cause a bigger stir on the local entertainment scene. Revel Saturdays are set to steer the club to a higher level.
