Sungura musician Peter Moyo will tomorrow perform at the official opening of The Avon restaurant in Avondale.

The show is likely to attract a number of people as they will have a chance to taste traditional dishes at the new restaurant.

Fans have a chance also to have pictures taken with the musician who will be performing in Avondale for the first time. “We are breaking new ground. Fans have been calling us to perform there but the only option we had was Greencroft and the coming of this place is a blessing,” he said.

The musician who is preparing his new album said they will have a chance to give fans the new stuff.

“It is a bonus show for our fans in Harare as we celebrate the opening of the new restaurant in the capital and our fans will have the chance to listen to the new stuff,” he said.

A lot is expected at the show as people will be able to have a feel of the new place and the new dishes offered.

Organisers of the event said they decided to have the young musician to introduce their place to the people in Avondale and places around.

“This place is new and we offer traditional and other meals here. As people enjoy music they need to see different types of meals we offer here,” said the organiser.
