South African group Mi Casa is set to return to Harare next month for a show at 7Arts Theatre as part of their current “Home Sweet Home” album tour.

The group performs in the capital on March 4 courtesy of Xtratime Entertainment and they will be supported by Mokoomba and Bryan Kadengu.

Mi Casa graced the Harare International Festival of the Arts in 2013 and left lasting impressions.

The success of their current album that has various collaborations is likely to make next month’s show exciting.

“Home Sweet Home” is a double CD album packed with 25 hit tracks and features talented stars like Cassper Nyovest, Big Nuz, DJ Tira, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Euphonik and Kenyan super group, Sauti Sol.

Now operating under a new record label, 34 Music, Mi Casa entered the music arena following their debut album titled “Micasa Music” in 2011, which contained the hit single “These Streets.”

It was followed by other hits such as “Heavenly Sent” and “La Vida.” The hits made the group a household name and they have toured internationally.

Xtratime Entertainment spokesperson Tonderai Mwaita said the group is happy to introduce the latest album in Zimbabwe and reunite with their fans.

“The ‘Home Sweet Home’ tour has taken them to various countries and we are happy it will also come to Harare. The group is making waves, which makes it one of the best bands in the region currently.

“We are looking forward to a great show and we know the guys will not disappoint,” said Mwaita.

He said Mokoomba and Kadengu were also happy to work with Mi Casa on the album tour. Mokoomba had another exciting show at 7Arts Theatre with Hugh Masekela last year.
