A number of Zimdancehall artistes will today share the stage at Club Super Label as they celebrate the birthday of Zimdancehall artiste, Terminator. Freeman, Lady Squanda, Dhadza D, Kinnah, Siderman among others are set to perform today. In an interview, Divine Assignments Entertainment Coordinator Ronny Bere said they are happy to be hosting Terminator’s birthday bash saying this is in line with the club’s aim to promote Zimdancehall and those who support it.

“Divine Assignments is committed to support Zimdancehall and Club Super Label is our affiliate which stands for Zimdancehall since the genre has solidified our venue.

“Hosting birthday bashes for Zimdancehall artistes is a way of saying ‘thank you’ to the artists who made our venue to be what it is today,” he said.

He also said that they have discovered that birthday bashes unite artists and also give Zimdancehall fans a chance to mix and mingle with their musicians. “Birthday bashes unite artistes and at the same time provide a platform for fans to get to know their artistes better,” he said.

Bere added that Terminator’s birthday bash will also be a way of congratulating the artiste who walked away the most improved artist accoladed in the Zimdancehall Awards held early this month.

Terminator was born Alban Nyatsambo in 1991. The musician said he was grateful to the organizers of the event for holding a birthday bash for him.

“It’s a great honour for me to be celebrating my birthday with fellow Zimdancehall artistes. I will also be celebrating the achievements I have made so far in the music industry.

“To all our fans I would like to say it is because of you that we are where we are today. Thank you for supporting us and keep supporting,” he said.
