South African musicians Mafikizolo and KO will tour a number of Harare suburbs to meet fans after their arrival in the country on Friday afternoon. The musicians will visit selected low density and high density suburbs in an expedition that will also be a familiarisation tour for the singers.

The artistes will be in the country for their show at Belgravia Sports Club on Saturday. They are expected to share the stage with local musicians Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Junior Brtown, Briss Mbada and a number of popular DJs from Harare and Bulawayo.

Organisers of the tour, 2Kings Entertainment, said they will take the South African musicians on a tour that would build excitement ahead of the show. Mafikizolo have performed in the country on numerous occasions, but their previous schedules were tight leaving them with no time to mix and mingle with their fans away from the show.

“They are performing on Saturday, but they will be flying into the country on Friday so that they can have time with their fans before the show. They will visit a number of suburbs and we will be announcing the finer details of the road show soon. We want people to meet their idols and we want the musicians to have a feel of their fans’ backyards,” said D-Nosh of 2Kings Entertainment.

“We are making final preparations for the show and tickets are selling well. We are happy that most fans are going for advance tickets to avoid pressure on the day of the show. Our $5 tickets are almost sold out and we encourage fans to get the advance tickets so that everything runs smoothly on the day of the show.”

Other tickets are going for $10 and $15, available at all Coloursel Furniture shops in the city centre, Newlands, Borrowdale and Chitungwiza as well as Sopranos Restaurant in Avondale and UZ campus.
