It was dreams come true for upcoming gospel musician, Itai Sandras when he launched his second album “Pazuva Guru” at the weekend at Africa Unit Square. The move was meant to endear him to the public in direct contrasts to some artistes who launch their projects in closed doors.

Sandras showed his vocal prowess driving his fans into praise and worship, dropping hit after hit.

“Korona”, a track that is so touching, was the major toast of the day which saw many taken into delirium.

In an interview on the sidelines of the launch, Sandras said: “I would like to thank the Almighty for making this day a reality. Never was I thinking, hoping that people would come in numbers.

Even though some of the artists who were supposed to be here could not turn up due to other commitments, this day is a dream come true,” he said.

Before Sandras took to the stage, the show which started two hours behind the scheduled time, saw Divine Orchestra showing the crowd what they are made of.

The black and white dressed ensemble fuses different languages that capture the imagination of many bridging the gap between religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Flatter also gave a good account of themselves and Trymore Bande stole the show with the crowd calling for an encore.

Little known Ibrahim Muchesa who performed with the aid of a backing track showed that he could be set to become a force to reckon with in the gospel arena.

Those who attended could attest that they had a good afternoon in which music made them feel to be in the Lord’s presence.
