THE firing of the Generations cast had everyone talking yesterday.
Producer Mfundi Vundla said the show will go on even without the big stars. The only question is how . . .?“We have a number of plans in place. Generations is not going to die because of this, the show will go on,” Vundla said.

SunFans on Facebook were not shy to say how they thought the show would handle the loss of so many characters:

Ron Colonel: Dlomo family (including Noluntu) died on a plane crash on their trip visiting Mawande in Cape Town. Ruby, Patrick and Dineo have moved to Thohoyandou with their shebeen.
And the rest have been attacked by Ebola.

Jacyjay’s Letsoalo: Don’t be surprised if there’s an earthquake and the only survivors are the supporting actors.

Neo M Lehola Ramotsehoa: Noluntu has a tea party, invites everyone and poisons the tea. And they all die!

Kelloggs K Ngobeni: I would end it with them disappearing like the Malaysian plane.

Binkie Matlanado: Turn it all into a zombie horror movie for a night.

Thintho Tido Master: Bomb them while they’re at Sbusiso’s wedding. The End.

Vusumuzi Memela: Make them go on a cruise and let the ship sink.

Boswell Maloka: They all die during an earthquake.

Another SunReader, who wished to remain anonymous, said he thought they should all die in a giant poo protest!

The ANC Youth League said it plans to meet with the cast, who should not back down.

Representative of the striking cast members, Bulelani Mzamo, said the actors are reviewing their legal options.

The cast members who were dismissed are: Anga Makubalo, Atandwa Kani, Katlego Danke, Mandla Gaduka, Menzi Ngubane, Nambitha Mpumlwana, Patrick Shai, Slindile Nodangala, Sophie Ndaba, Seputla Sebogodi, Thami Mngqolo, Thato Molamu, Winnie Ntshaba, Zenande Mfenyana, Zikhona Sodlaka and Zolisa Xaluva. – Daily Sun.
