Gospel group Thee Family Music is set to launch its second album titled “Inoda Jesu” this weekend. Thee Family Music is a youthful group from the Seventh Day Adventist Church, which sings accapella praise and worship songs. In an interview, Hlanganani Ngwenya, the founder of the group, said they are going to launch their second album on Saturday at Prince Edward School.

“Currently, we have one album entitled ‘Gather at the River’ and we have named the upcoming release ‘Inoda Jesu’,” said Hlanga.

“At the present moment we have not been able to perform outside the country as a ministry but we are looking forward to do that anytime soon as the Lord permits,” Hlanga said.

He added that most of their songs were written by the group members, some friends who are willing to write for them and some are re-arrangements from the SDA hymn book.

The group currently has 12 singing members with one based in Bulawayo and two preaching members.

“The next five to 10 years are quite unpredictable but our goal is that our ministry should reach all four corners of the world with heavy influence and inspiration to everyone who needs hope, comfort and joy. We also hope to have our own studio, group vehicle, PA system and an auditorium for music. By God’s grace, we will,” Hlanga added.

Hlanga also said as a ministry they had gone through a lot and thanked God for leading them.

“Ebenezer! People think that success is easy, but really it is a mountain to climb especially when you are young people without real financial muscle,” he added.

Thee Family Music was founded in 2010 by Hlanga and Edwin Ma- tsika.

They have over 60 tracks now and wish to release a single every month starting this month.
