Gospel couple Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba will this Sunday share the stage with rising group Spirit Praise at Harare Gardens. The two groups who are on a national tour have been performing outside Harare and are set to rock their city fans.
The Charambas last performed at the venue last year and are excited and look forward to a great show.

“We are grateful for this opportunity to mix with our fans and share the stage with Spirit Praise. We promise to deliver our best and we will be marketing our latest album ‘WeNazareta’.

“During our shows we have been doing out of Harare, the album has received an overwhelming response and will continue to please our fans.

“It is our passion to support upcoming artistes and we will continue to do so,” said Pastor Charamba.

Other artistes to perform are two gospel hip hop artistes Prince Martin and Whistle.

Event organiser and Spirit Praise choir director Learnmore Tavengwa said everything is in place for the show.

“Everything is in place and all artistes have confirmed their participation and we are expecting huge numbers and we promise to give our fans polished performances,” he said.

Tavengwa also said the aim of the show is to market their latest album “Nguva Yatokwana”.

“This show is also meant to market our latest album and we are pleased with the response it has received so far.

“This is also an opportunity to share the stage with other upcoming gospel artistes. As Christians our duty is to assist each other until we all get established in the music industry,” he said.

The group is currently riding high with songs “Makanaka”, “Anodaira” and the title track “Yatokwana Nguva”.

Their music appeals to all age groups as it is a fusion of sungura, jazz and rhumba.
