South African award-winning rapper, Refiloe Maele Phoolo aka Cassper Nyovest is set to stage his debut performance in Zimbabwe on Valentine’s Day at the recently opened Club 1+1 at the Long Cheng Plaza.

The “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker will be sharing stage with Zim dancehall artistes Seh Calaz, hip-hop artiste Tehn Diamond and MMT.

There will also be a number of DJ’s on the night who include Rax, Raydizz, Chill and MC Cut

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, the musician’s manager Lerato “T-Lee” Moiloa confirmed the musician’s performance in Harare.

“It is true we will be performing in Harare for the first time on Valentine’s day and we are promising fireworks on the day,” he said.

Nyovest also took to social media to create hype for the show.

“Zimbabwe, It’s no scam! It’s no false advertising!, I’m coming on the 14th of February at Long Chen plaza” read the post.

Meanwhile, Sasha Musarira of Royal Events, organisers of the show said they are expecting a successful funfilled night come February 2014.

“Nyovest is the in thing now, he is driving people crazy with his song “Doc Shebeleza” and I am sure Zimbabweans would love to meet him,

“We are also confident with our local line up of Seh Calaz, Tehn Diamond and MMT, they have also emerged as the people’s favourites. Since it is going to be a Valentine’s day people will be in the mood to party,” he said.

Nyovest hogged the limelight with his debut album “Tsholofelo” released last year.

It carries singles “Gusheshe” that was released in 2013 and “Doc Shebeleza” which has become a household single in South Africa and surrounding countries.

He is currently signed to his own independent label and media company, “Family Tree”.
