It’s getting hot here and well, we think many pools are fully booked and that should be the best thing to happen this holiday. The curtain comes down today as most activities end on a high note at the Harare Agricultural Show. Many teenagers are spoilt for fun as the dancehall and reggae Cupclash is on today and those in the swag world there are the SWAGNATION parties around.

Congrats to Lorde, Pharell Williams, Ariana Grande and Bey for winning awards at the just ended VMAs. Usher, brother you killed it with that white performance not forgetting the scintillating performance.

Oops Nicki had a wardrobe malfunction but guess it was staged. Why on earth did she have that wireless head set microphone? We so loved the new look by our boy Breezy, on girls’ side Rita Ora and Izzy, well they stole the show.

Back home, a lot of good things are happening and CLS is always on time and spot.

Boyz Dzetonaz next big thing
My president is black, my favourite colour is black and my town is Harare. New label called Boyz Dzetonaz has hit our streets. Well it is our local brand on hoodies, tees, caps and jackets. The label has already caused a stir among top celebrities. Surprisingly the label too also got town and city names such as Harare, Mbare or you can still keep the original name concept.

According to Denford Jiro the brains behind the label said it is about promoting our country and style. He also said the items are well presented and printed in SA.
For the honey bees (girls) theirs is labelled Girlz Dzetonaz. I think if you are moving well with trends don’t be left out and this is the time we stand and being loyal to the game, pride with our HARARE not NY and rocking the swag.

Ice-bucket challenge
Our social media has gone haywire with the ice bucket challenge. The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on someone’s head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research.
The challenge dares nominated participants to be filmed having a bucket of ice water poured on their heads and challenging others to do the same.

A common stipulation is that nominated people have 24 hours to comply. I think people have gone out of hand, yes it’s America but HELLO what significance is it bringing in our community. Please don’t throw the bucket at me, but food for thought.

Va-va- voom Vans
The Vans tennis is now trendy especially this summer-spring like season. They range in all shades of colours and girls too got their style.
Tip is to make them outstanding wear them with different shades of clothes and they become a highlighter of the day. Remember it is all about colours so colour your world with Vans. For example rocking a denim look with a pair of red Vans makes heads turn round. Trust me today as it is jam fun packed you won’t go wrong.
