The musician has since been described by music fans as a copy cat, who took advantage of his relationship with Mukudzei Mukombe aka Jay Prayzah to venture into the music industry.

He has however since denied that he was a copycat, saying he was merely emulating the lanky musician In 2014, he met Jah Prayzah at a United Methodist Church service where the lanky musician offered him help to pursue music as a career.

“We were at a church service in Uzumba when I met Jah Prayzah who then offered to guide me in my career but unfortunately that time I was still at school and we could not say much,” he said.

He was to communicate with Jah Prayzah after he had relocated to Harare soon after completed his secondary education. For Muridzo that was the beginning of his career and he would get shows on his own as well as being a curtain raiser for his “brother”.
