Zim’s recovery cases up

The number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 in Zimbabwe has risen to 36 277.
According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC), the country has so far recorded 38 466 confirmed Covid-19 cases, including 36 277 recoveries and 1 579 deaths as at May 12.
Harare province continues to dominate the country’s provincial list with 13 138 cumulative cases and 611 deaths whilst Matebeleland North province has the lowest cumulative cases of 1 401 and 19 deaths
Since the start of the vaccination programme, 549 797 people have received their first dose and 180 568 their second dose.
According to the Ministry, the country has recorded 18 new cases all local.
No deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
The national recovery rate stands at 94, 2 percent.
