Zim players in SA high performance squad

TALENTED five Zimbabwean rugby schoolboys were yesterday selected into the Under-16 and Under-17 South African High Performance squads.
The players, who are studying in South Africa, are Vernon Matongo, Thabani Maguranyanga, Nyasha Gumbo, Munashe Mhere and Munashe Chaitezwi.
The boys are part of the local Kyros elite squad.
“Five boys, who are in our Kyros Elite Squad, have been selected into the U16 and U17 South African High Performance squads.
‘’They have been recognised as being among the best talent in their age-group in South Africa.
“It gives great pleasure to see them getting this recognition as we have been actively involved in their rugby, including their attendance at the Elite Combine in December last year.
‘’Their hard work and dedication is being duly rewarded,’’ Kyros Sports said on their website.
