THE Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) and the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which seeks to share critical information in the fight against graft.

ZACC was represented by Deputy Chairperson Commissioner Kuziva Murapa while PRAZ was represented by chief executive Mr Nyasha Chizu.

Speaking after signing the MOU, ZACC deputy chair Commissioner Murapa said the move is critical and important to the anti-graft body in its fight against graft.

“We have a mandate to fight and wipe out corruption and for us to win that, it is important to work closely with various stakeholders hence the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding with PRAZ,” he said.

Mr Chizu said working with ZACC will enable them to tackle corruption.

“Part of our duties is to collect information and as we also do our job, we come across issues of corruption and we are glad that we are now working with ZACC, which has just been given some arresting powers.”

He said PRAZ will always be ready to work with ZACC.
