They played cousins on ‘‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’’ from 1990 to 1996. But Will Smith, 46, and Alfonso Ribeiro, 43, seem as close as real family members. On Tuesday the co-stars looked happy as they posed for a photo that included Alfonso’s son AJ, aged one, and his Dancing With The Stars partner Witney Carson.

The snap was taken backstage at the Dancing With The Stars Live! tour – which ABC vet Ribeiro has been performing in and posted to Instagram.

‘‘Fresh Prince reunion while on the road with the #DWTSLiveTour,’’ the caption read.

At 6ft2in, Will towered over the group. The Men In Black actor wore a button-down light blue dress shirt, tie and dark trousers.

With his graying hair, bright smile, clean-shaven face and height that matches President Barack Obama, 53, (Will is .03 m taller), social media followers could not help remarking on the uncanny resemblance.

A day earlier the tour made a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio. They will continue on to Peoria, Illinois for a show scheduled on Wednesday.

The visit must come as a welcome surprise for Alfonso, the DWTS season 19 celebrity winner.

He said on the series ahead of his victory that he would not dare ask for the superstar to sit in the audience to help him attract votes.

Jada’s show (Gotham on Fox) is up against Dancing With The Stars, so I’m not asking Will to come and support me while going up against his wife,’ Alfonso told Yahoo.

‘‘That’s not something a friend would do to another man!’

However, he did receive a visit from another co-star during his run on the competition, his on-screen little sister  and cousin to Will’s character Tatyana Ali, who played Ashley Banks.

Since the sitcom ended in 1996 after six years, the duo have been supportive of each other throughout the years, attending red carpet events and cast reunions.

One of the last times Will and Alfonso teamed up was in 2013 for a bit on The Graham Norton Show that became a YouTube hit with nearly 30m views.

Along with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will’s son Jaden, they performed their dance routine to Sugarhill Gang’s Apache (Jump On It) that is fondly remembered by fans of their sitcom.

At the time, Will was promoting his action movie After Earth, which co-starred his son.

‘‘The Ali’’ and ‘‘Pursuit Of Happyness Oscar’’ nominated actor is currently starring opposite Margot Robbie as a veteran con artist who takes a young beauty as his protégé in Focus.

It will hit theatres on February 27.

Meanwhile, Alfonso, best known for his character Carlton Banks on the sitcom, will continue to headline the DWTS Live! tour through February 15.

The Silver Spoons actor claimed the Dancing With The Stars Mirror Ball trophy on November 25 when the season wrapped, which included Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson (partnered with Mark Ballas), who placed second, and Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish (Val Chmerkovskiy), who finished third.

Model turned actor Antonio Sabato, Jr., Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett, fashion designer Betsey Johnson and Back To The Future actress Lea Thompson were among some of the other celebrity contestants.

Alfonso’s arm-swaying, hip shaking dance moves to Tom Jones’ 1965 hit It’s Not Unusual, which was also performed on his ‘90s comedy series, helped him become a fan favorite during his run on Dancing With The Stars.

Pro dancers who are also taking part in the tour include: Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas, Keo Motsepe, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber and Kym Johnson. – Daily Mail.
