West African bloc threatens force if Gbagbo does not quit
“In the event that Mr Gbagbo fails to heed the immutable demand of ECOWAS, the community will be left with no alternative but to take other measures, including the use of legitimate force, to achieve the goals of the Ivorian people,” a final communique from the summit said.-AFP
