Tsviriyo at Hifa’s Coca-cola green Jah Prayzah

The UK-bound musician, took his latest offering “Tsviriyo” to the already warmed up stage and gave a one-hour breathtaking performance leaving the crowd asking for more.Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Jah Prayzah was elated to see a huge crowd waiting for him at the Coca-cola Green main stage despite arriving close to 45 minutes late.

“This is absolutely amazing, I am short of words what this means to me being welcomed by such an ecstatic crowd.

“I wish to see such a turnout at some of my shows that I do locally. The credit all comes down to the organisers of the event for giving me a rare opportunity to perform this year. Hifa is a very big event that gives artistes a chance to shine and showcase talent before both local and international audience,” said Jah Praysah.

Speaking of the late attendance, Jah Praysah said he was sorry, but he was in a difficult situation juggling between putting things in place for the impending UK tour and Tuesday’s performance.

Indeed, he was in a difficult situation as he was seen running coming from the crowd rushing on the stage to catch up with the pace which was set by some of the band members.
“I think people should understand that this is my last day (Tuesday) in the country, but however, I’m so sorry, wish I could give them extra hours,” he said.

The crowd which was heard singing along to some of the songs from his latest album “Tsviriyo” could not hold their breath when the album title track ‘Tsviriyo’ was aired an act which marked the last minutes of his performance.

The youthful musician who is touring the UK this week was set to leave the country last night for London where he is set to stage three shows in Leicester, Manchester and an as yet unidentified venue before returning home.
