A lot is expected when top Zimbabwean entertainers converge for a family show slated for Harare this Sunday. Musicians Jah Prayzah, Mathias Mhere, Killer T, Soul Jah Love and Peter Moyo are scheduled to perform at the event. Organisers of the event said they have decided to have a show that features many artists and caters for families.

Patson Chimbodza of Chipaz promotions that are putting together the show said families should come and enjoy. “There is need for families to get entertainment and have time to enjoy, having autographs and pictures with musicians,” said Chimbodza.

He said all artistes have confirmed their participation. “Everything is now in place and we are looking forward to a great show,” said Chimbodza.

Moyo who is basking in glory following the release of his new album “Mabasa AMwari” said he was looking forward to a great show. “People have been responding well to my album. They are appreciating that we have moved a step forward,” he said.

He said they will be playing all the songs on the new album. Jah Prayzah manager Keen Mushapaidze said they were giving everyone an equal opportunity to listen to the musician’s staff.

“He has shared stage with several musicians in the country and we are giving everyone time to come and listen to his staff as he shares stage with Zimbabwe’s best artists,” said Mushapaidze.

The musician who is arguably the musician of the moment last week started to sample a new song titled “Zvavo”.

With songs such as “Eriza”, “Chinamira” “Tiise Maoko” topping the charts, a lot is expected from the musician.

DJ Bima who is Killer T manager said that was their opportunity to meet with their fans in Harare.

“That is a golden opportunity for us as we will be performing at a family show in the capital,” he said.
