Thousands of men from Zimbabwe and the region gathered at the City Sports Centre yesterday for the three-day ManWorld Convention being hosted by the United Family International Church in conjunction with Spirit Embassy. Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa of UFIC, Prophet Uebert Angel of Spirit Embassy and Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng from Ghana headline the list of speakers at the convention.
This year’s theme for the convention has been dubbed: “Becoming a strong man in tough times”.

The three prophets have dared men to attend the convention which is set to impact and transform them.
“Surely when we gather, we do not gather in vain and when the prophets of God call you, there is surely a word in store for you,” said Prophet Makandiwa.

“What is it that is too difficult for the Lord, just come believing God for your miracle and you will leave with a testimony.”
Prophet Makandiwa said Prophet Boateng would fly-in from Britain to be at the convention that will end tomorrow.

ManWorld Convention has become arguably the largest gathering of Christian men in Southern Africa and is drawing a large following from beyond the region.

More than 30 000 men attended the inaugural ManWorld Convention last year and the number is expected to increase this year because of the interest that the gathering is drawing.
