A teenage boy from Mupata suburbs in Chinhoyi who was admitted at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where he was battling for his life after being stabbed by a neighbour last month, has been discharged.

The boy, Tonderai Kamhuka (13) who is under the care of his brother, Tatenda is recuperating well at the family house in Chinhoyi.

Tonderai, who said he was lucky to be alive, lost his mother when he was five.

The neighbour, Monalisa Choguya (33) who slit Tonderai’s head and stomach, leading to his intestines protruding outside, is expected to appear in court for routine remand today.
