Soul Musaka, popularly known as Soul Jah Love who was supposed to be the main act at the Zimbabwe Music Awards leaves today for Pretoria, South Africa.
Soul Jah Love had cancelled his South Africa shows to pave way for the ZIMA awards since he was supposed to be one of the main acts at the event alongside Jah Prayzah, Sabastian Magacha and Audius Mtawarira among others.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Soul Jah Love’s manager Tawanda Murambiri said it was fortunate that they had only cancelled one show which was supposed to be held today in Cape Town.

“Jah Love had shows in South Africa starting from today, October 3 up to October 5. But because we were told that he was nominated to be one of the main acts at the ZIMA awards, he decided to cancel his SA tour.

“After the postponement of the event we are left with no choice but to continue with some of the shows which were not cancelled. ‘Chimwana chacho’, Jah Child left yesterday for South Africa after the announcement that ZIMA has been postponed and Soul Jah Love will be leaving today,

“He is going to have a show in Pretoria tomorrow and another in Johannesburg the following day.

He will wait for the Cape Town show which is now on October 10 and come back on the 11th for the Lion Lager Beer festival,” he said.

The “Ndini uya uya” hit-maker who had promised an explosive act at the awards ceremony, promises to deliver the best on October 29 when the ceremony will be held.

“We are just waiting for October 29. Nothing has changed. Soul Jah Love will put up a sterling performance as he had promised,” he said.
