Spokesperson for Soul Bone, Kadengu said they have been awarded another lifetime opportunity by Mtukudzi whom they have been working with for some time.

“Yes we have been silent over the years but we have had Baba Tuku coming to our rescue with a lifetime opportunity to record using live instruments as well as mentoring us as artistes,” Kadengu said.

“We have had a relationship as artiste with the superstar for a long time and when we recently met we discussed on our current position and he offered to help us.

“Since then we have been working on our project but we decided we had to release a single first in preparation of the forthcoming album,” Kadengu said.

Soul Bone made it to MTV and Channel O with their video “Lets Party” in 2008 and won the National Merit Awards (NAMA) best video in 2009.

With the help of the late Prince Tendai Mparutsa they toured several countries in the region promoting the album.

Kadengu said they are yet to decide on the title of the forthcoming album.

He expressed his gratitude to Tuku who has since promised to stand with them all the way.

“Baba Tuku has been there for us and we are thankful for the support we are receiving and the man has been there and promised to support us,” Kadengu said.
