After a successful debut show at Tanza Centre in Chitungwiza recently, Suluman “Sulu” Chimbetu returns to the venue tomorrow for another dance with his fans in the city and surrounding areas.

Sulu shares the stage with Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo in a “Sons of Legends” affair that is likely to see the musicians playing songs that take people back to the days of the late stars Simon Chimbetu and Tongai Moyo.

Sulu and Peter lead the list of children of musicians that have been active on the industry since taking reins from their fathers.

Although there is turbulence at Peter’s Utakataka Express, the musician promised to keep pursuing his father’s music and giving his fans old and new songs at his shows.

Sulu is probably the most successful heir to music of a fallen artiste as he has kept a slot it the top five of local musicians’ list.

He is currently working on his next album that is set for release in August. Speaking through his publicist Joe “Local” Nyamungoma, Sulu said they are happy to return to Tanza Centre for another show in such a short time.

“We were there recently and people enjoyed our act. We are happy to be going back to Chitungwiza again and we promise a big act,” said Nyamungoma.

Tanza Centre was officially opened by a show featuring Jah Prayzah and the venue has been hosting big shows over the past few months.

The place is the latest of popular outdoor venues that surround Chikwanha Shopping Centre and it is adjacent to the Aquatic Complex.
