Rising singer Simba The Lion will next Wednesday launch his new album titled “Ngoma Inorira” at East Point in Harare.

The launch will be graced by a number of musicians who will come to celebrate with the young singer as he continues pursuing his contemporary music.

Simba The Lion — real name Simbarashe Nyaunga — started pursuing a solo career after leaving Andy Muridzo’s group Jeetaz Band, where he was manager, a few years ago.

Muridzo will come to support his former manager at the launch as one of the performers of the night.

Other musicians that are expected to grace the event are Baba Harare, Pater Moyo, Progress Chipfumo, Sasha, Diana Samkange, Roki, Jah Signal, Carlos Green, Cozzu Cozile and Diamond Musica.

The musician said he is happy to have many artistes coming to grace his occasion as it shows the support that they have for his career.

He has collaborated with various musicians on the line-up at various shows and projects.

Simba The Lion is looking forward to a great launch.

“I have worked with several musicians and I am gaining experience every day. I am looking forward to a big day next Wednesday and I hope people will receive the album well,” he said.

“We have been planning the launch for a long time and everything is now in place. We have another big artiste who is coming in as a guest of honour. I thank everyone who has worked towards this launch and I promise music lovers a perfect album.”
