Saul Chaminuka cries out Saul Chaminuka

ZPC Kariba coach Saul Chaminuka feels he will have to build almost a new squad this season after losing nearly half of the key players of his regular starting line-up during the off-season.

The 2014 Premiership runners-up ZPC Kariba started their pre-season training on Wednesday but some of the key players from last season have decided against renewing their contracts with the side.

Chaminuka has also lost his goalkeeper’s coach Tembo Chuma, who has joined Triangle, while team manager Partson Ndabambi is no longer with the team following the expiry of his contract.

Besides a shake-up in the technical department, one of ZPC Kariba’s stars from last year Limited Chikafa has joined How Mine.

Chikafa had a memorable season as he finished as one of the top three players in the Castle Lager Premiership.

Last week, Peter Muzondo and Ephraim Mwinga joined Triangle while goalkeeper Tonderayi Mateyaunga and Obey Mwerahari have moved to Dynamos. Mwerahari had to buy out his contract so that he could play for the Harare giants while Soccer Star of the Year, Dennis Dauda, had been a target for a number of teams although he is still tied to Katuruturu.
