recovered two days later dumped in the middle of the road at Eye Court Farm near Chitungwiza.

National police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi on Wednesday confirmed the incident.

He said the robbers pounced on a security guard before stealing two Nokia cellphones, US$2 460, a dust coat, a desktop computer, a laptop, an HP monitor, printer and the pick-up truck before disappearing.

“On June 2, a member of the public discovered the vehicle and a report was made to the police,” Chief Supt Nyathi said.

Police recovered the desktop computer, four broken empty cash boxes and four five-litre containers of detergents hidden nearby.

Chief Supt Nyathi said investigations were still in progress and appealed to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspects to contact any nearest police station.
